Tempus
Investment Research Limited ("Tempus")
is Asia's leading independent quantitative and technical
research company, specializing in cycle,
momentum and trend analysis of the Asian and
global financial markets.
We provide advice on market timing, asset
allocation and stock selection to both
long-only and absolute return style investors, including our own fund, Tempus Asian Strategies Fund.
Observed changes of trend and strength among
groups of stocks and markets are related to the
operation of the economic cycles and long-term
macro-trends. Although understanding of the fundamental drivers of
individual company profits is also a pre-requiste to successful investing.
The company was formed in 2002 and has been registered as an Investment Advisor with
the Hong Kong SFC since April 2003, and as an Asset Manager since February 2006.
John Schofield and Martin Ching are the two Responsible Officers.

John
Schofield
John Schofield founded Hong Kong based Tempus Investment Research Limited in 2003.
The firm provides independent advice on Asian market strategy to a range of institutional investors.
Tempus also now manages a regional hedge fund, which has risen in value by over 50% since inception in April 2006.
The research is based primarily on technical but also fundamental analysis. John believes that technical analysis, used judiciously,
can give investors a vital edge in today's fast moving environment, but that it must be used in conjunction with fundamentals.
John has over 25 years experience in financial markets, including 20 years divided between Hong Kong and Japan. Immediately before starting Tempus,
he was strategist for Prudential-Bache Securities in Asia. Prior to that, he gained a wide knowledge of the equity,
