Tempus Asian Strategies Fund was launched in April 2006 and is run by TIRL.
The Fund is a long/short directional Asian Equity hedge fund, and has gained about 55% for investors since inception. The investment style is a combination of:

Top-down allocation to selected major themes (at country or sector level), |

Trend-following using TIRL’s proprietary technical analysis models, with an active hedging programme to mitigate adverse short-term moves, and |
| 3. |
Fundamental stock-picking within our evolving universe of 500 or more liquid stocks |
We vary the Fund’s net exposure according to our current view of market conditions and based on objective criteria such as volatility and co-variance between markets.
The normal range is 80% net long to 20% net short.
The Fund is available to institutional and professional individual investors. The minimum investment amount is US$100,000.
